WB: 1:1000
Background: Caspase proteins are a family of cysteine proteases that are key mediators of programmed cell death or apoptosis (1). The precursor form of all caspase proteins is composed of a prodomain, and large and small catalytic subunits. The active forms of caspas

Immunogen: Clone 14F468 was generated from a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 371-390 (RKVRFSFEQPDGRAQMPTTE) in the C-terminal region of human caspase-1. This sequence has high homology to the conserved region in mouse and rat caspase-1.
Buffer And Storage: Mouse monoclonal antibody purified with protein G chromatography is supplied in 100µl phosphate-buffered saline, 0.05% BSA, and 0.05% sodium azide. Store at 4°C. For long term storage, store at –20°C.
Specificity: The antibody detects pro Caspase-1 at 45 kDa* and the cleaved forms of Caspase-1 that contain amino acid 371-390. The antibody can be used for western blot and immunohistochemistry.
